Types of Dating
Dating is a fun activity where you not only get to enhance your social life, but also get to meet new people and learn them to find your potential match. It opens the doors of different cultures. Dating does not mean only sitting and talking to someone, it could even be going for a movie, or eating somewhere out etc.
There are different type’s f dates, they are as follows:-
- The normal or standard date: - This will only have two people who go out for a date.
- A double date: - this would be where two couples plan out something and go out together to the same place and do the same thing.
- Blind date: - a blind date is where you are hooked up to a complete stranger. This is someone you have not seen or spoken. This is often done by either a friend or a family member
- Group date:- this is where any number of couples go on a date at the same time, the same place For e.g.:- A new party, night club /disc etc
- Speed dating- This is where many individuals goes to a particular place and have short dates with other singles. There is a bell that rings and when it does you are supposed to go to the next person and start your date since the time you spend with each individual is very short you only get to know some general details about that person.
The dating service is in high demand all year round and is a very competitive industry. Today we can date someone online and this is done as per our convenience. Just like there are different types of dating, the same goes with online dating. Some of them are as follows:-
- General Online dating - One of the most common online dating which is known to all. In this, you can sign up on a site and view other profiles matching the type of person you want.
- Online dating sites that will help you find the right match - Unlike the general dating service; there are some sites that look into specifications given by you about the type of person you want during the time of registration after filling the questionnaire that they have to help them understand what you want. Then your profile along with you requirements are then matched to other members and you are then notified about the same.
- Social Networking sites -These are sites where you can stay in touch with your family and friends and also make some new ones. Some of them are- facebook, orkut, my space etc
- Specific types of dating sites - these are sites, which look for a particular type. e.g.- Catholic dating, Muslim dates, Pet lovers dating site etc. You can meet a person who shares the same person as you.
